I usually hate having to go to the city of Conway offices for anything. You never know who or what your going to have to deal with when you get there and it usually takes about three big breaths and a constant "nobodies perfect" chant in my head to make it through. current business license inspector and has been since I can remember and I would just like to say that that man is adorable. I love his no nonsense attitude and going in his office is like stepping back in time. He is always very polite and always looks me in the eye, which is rare these days.

He also knows what he is talking about and acts like he has some sense. But that should be expected from somebody from his generation. By far he is one of the most competent persons I have talked to employed by the city. He is every bit the definition of a Horry County southern gentleman, and while I am sure he has the stuff inside of him to be a force to reckon with, I find him refreshing.

Plus I think his suspenders are very dapper, and something men should wear more of.

Now I really don't know Mr. Johnson on a personal level so I really can't say what he is like on the inside. He could be a perfectly horrid person for all I know but from the outside he is quite the sweet character. Besides, even if he is a terrible person, I don't think I'd like to know because that would take away the only thing I like about visits to the City's offices.

Meeting people like Mr Johnson is one of the many reasons I will always hold Conway dear to my heart. Even when the world is constantly spinning crazily onward, there are still treasures to be found if you look hard enough.
