Conway Downtown Alive is calling on all the artistically creative and giving out information on the Equinox Art & Music Festival, being held on March 23rd. As well as the Rivertown Music & Arts Festival on May 4th....

"Applications are now being accepted for artists and fine craft vendors for the annual Equinox Art and Music Festival. CREATE! Conway will host their annual gathering of area musicians and artists on Saturday March 23, 2013 from 10am to 5pm on the historic Horry County Court House lawn in Downtown Conway.  

The festival will showcase the areas' talent in an entertaining, family-friendly environment with live music, local vendors, small town atmosphere, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The Equinox Festival provides an affordable and fun way to expand your local clientele and meet your fellow Grand Strand artisans.

The 27th Annual Rivertown Music & Arts Festival will be held May 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. in Downtown Conway, SC.  Local artists, crafters and merchants will line the downtown streets offering an assortment of wares including pottery, wood, glass, photography, jewelry and paintings.  Festival-goers are encouraged to bring a chair to enjoy the musical acts on Laurel Street and then meander over to the Classic Car Show hosted by Chicora Car Club."

So if you're handy with a paint brush, stain glass, sewing, or what-have-you, come join the fun and share your talents with the community!
